About 6:1  One of the best in Ottawa to ensure that each child receives the attention they deserve.

We accept children that are between 5 and 15 years old.

The program starts from the time we either pick up you child or they are dropped off by school van.  You can pick up your child anytime before 6pm.

Full day child care is included in our after school program on PA days.  We operate a special organized fun day for the kids.

We are open and taking care of your kids on snow days.   If your child comes to us by OSTA, you can drop of your child on snow days.  If Zen normally picks them up, we will pick them up on snow days.

Our after school program closes down and we don't charge you. But, don't worry we have an amazing March Break and Summer Camp in case you need fun child care for your kids.

Homework is a priority at Zen.  We will sit and help your child complete their homework everyday.

You register for one school year. You can cancel anytime with 30 days notice with no cancellation fees. The after school program operates during the school year from September to June.  There are 40 weeks of school.  40 weeks that the school is open and teaching your child.  We only bill you during those weeks. We do not bill you during the Christmas, March and Summer break.

Yes. Students can attend a minimum of twice a week.  You will pay a proportion of the regular full time rate. 80% for 4x week, 60% for 3x week and 40% for 2x week.

Yes.  We don't just house children until they are picked up.  We will help develop your child into a stronger and more resilient person both mentally and physically.  Martial arts classes are an important part of that process.

You can cancel the after school care at any time with no penalty.

You can see our detailed rates on our website.  If you compare our rates to the school EDP programs we believe that you will see that the possible small increase in the monthly cost is a great investment in your child's long term well being. In addition, the 6 or 7 full day PA/PD days are included in our program at no additional cost. ZAP families also have priority registration for our March Break and Summer Camps.

There is a one time $149 enrollment fee for kids and youth (7-13) and $129 for Little Samurai's (4-6) when you register. This includes the martial arts uniform your child will need for classes, their Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belts and a Zen T-shirt.  If you are an existing martial arts student this fee is waived.
